30 Weeks!! Less than ten weeks until we meet our little man!
I can't believe we are 3/4 the way through this pregnancy. It really has gone by pretty quickly. I think I am going to miss feeling the little bumps, pokes and kicks, but I know it will be so amazing to have him on the outside with us!
How far along am I? 30 weeks and 1 day
Total weight gain? 22 pounds last weeks, so hopefully 23 pounds
Sleep? I have been waking up a lot again, hopefully this won't last :)
How am I feeling? Feeling great this week. I little tired, but we have been pretty busy. I am really enjoying having 5 days off work for the holidays.
Best moment this week? I got a pregnancy massage yesterday, it was a birthday present from Josh, Megan, Melanie and Scott. She used a pregnancy table with a belly hole, so it was so nice to be able to lay on my belly. We also went to our breastfeeding class, and it was so sweet to see Chris so interested and into it.
Movement? He has still been kicking away, nothing painful yet! It's funny to now feel these big round parts up at the top of my tummy. I can't tell if it's head or butt, I just keep rubbing it, either way :)
Belly button? My dad checked it out last night, and said it was still an innie and no line yet :)
Food cravings? I had a Wendy's vanilla Frosty on the way home last night. I ate every single bite, sorry Chris :)
What I am looking forward to? We have our child birthing class this Saturday (all day) and the hospital tour on Sunday. The classes seem to make it all seem more real.
Milestones? Baby is about 15.7 inches long, and weighs about 3 pounds. Fingernails and toenails are finally finished developing. When baby is awake his eyes are now wide open.

29 Weeks!
How far along am I? 29 WeeksTotal weight gain? gained 5 this month, so total is 22 pounds
Sleep? Sleep is great! I am usually asleep by 9:15 or 9:30 and get up at 5:15 (there are a few potty breaks in there, of course!)
How am I feeling? I am feeling great! It's getting a little harder to bend over, but other than that I feel wonderful! I am really going to miss being pregnant.
Best moment this week? There were so many....My baby shower, passing my glucose test, getting all of his clothes and blankets washed and organizer, our first breastfeeding class, and getting my diaper bag.
Belly Button? Still in
Food Cravings? Nothing in particular
What I am looking forward to? The child birthing class, hospital tour, and getting the rest of his room organized. Daddy is working on new shelves for his closet.

Shower given by Emily and Amanda
Yesterday Amanda and Emily threw me a dessert shower! It was so delicious! They had all of my favorite things...Chocolate Chip cookies, petit fours, mini pumpkin pies, pumpkin chocolate chips muffins, toffee fudge, peanut butter balls....YUM! Amanda made this precious diaper cake with turtles on it! It is now sitting in his room.
Logan got so many awesome gifts! Mimi got him this precious "going home" outfit with a tiny little hat and sweet little booties! I can't wait to see him in it. I have been looking for something, and this is perfect!
We also got our video monitor, which Chris was so excited about. He took it out last night and is already getting it set-up. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful gifts! I was busy last night organizing and I started washing his blankets and clothes!

28 Weeks!
Last week as an eggplant! How far along am I? 28 weeks
Total weight gain? I will find out on Monday
Sleep? I think I can say that I am getting the third trimester sleepies. I feel asleep while trying to watch several tv shows this week, and I feel asleep on the living room floor! Chris had to wake me up!
How am I feeling? Wonderful besides my back. My back is hurting pretty much every time I sit down. :(
Best moment this week? My wonderful baby shower and seeing my beautiful baby boy in 4D! He was so sleepy, just like Mommy!
Movement? He has been moving like crazy. It's funny how much more I have been able to feel him over the last few weeks.
Belly Button? Still in
Food Cravings? I had to get some Cheetos on the way home yesterday...They sounded so good! We now have an open bag of about 20 different chips in the pantry. I want a certain kind of chips, then after I have it once, I don't really want them again.
What I am looking forward to? My third shower this weekend. Amanda and Emily are throwing it. I can't wait to see everyone! We also get to go back on Friday to try to get some better pictures of Logan. Our appointment is at 5:00. Check back Friday night for more pictures!

We had another beautiful shower!
What another amazing weekend! Not only did I get to spend it with my wonderful family, but they threw me the most beautiful and amazing baby shower. Every little detail was so beautiful and so very much appreciated. I was having to hold back tears when I first walked in, because it just took my breath away. Logan is one lucky baby! He got so many wonderful things! I have been organizing and cutting tags, so I can start washing his clothes this week! Here are a few pictures, and I will post more as soon as I get them from Aunt Carroll.

We are having a gymnast!
So, not only does Logan LOVE to show us that he has a peepee, but he also wanted to show us that he is a gymnast! He pretty much had his feet over his face the whole time. You can see in one of the pictures, he had his legs bent back over his head. We even took a break so I could drink a Coke to get him to move his legs. When he finally moved his legs, he moved the umbilical cord in front of his face. We didn't get the best pictures, but we still got to see his perfect little face. He looks like he may have my nose and my big cheeks. We caught him yawning several times! The lady is going to let us come back next Friday to try and get some better pictures.
This is him yawning

This is his face. You can see his mouth, nose and left eye

This is another face shot, but the cord is in front of his eyes and forehead. You can see his nose, mouth and cheeks.

This is the gymnast shot. It is a little hard to tell but his legs are across the top, bottom is the round top left part, and his face (profile) is bottom left. It's like he's making a backwards C with his body.

So excited about this weekend!
I am so excited about this weekend, it's all I can think about! Tomorrow my Aunt Carroll, Aunt Ann, and cousin Melanie get in town for the baby shower. We are going out to eat and to see Baby Logan on 4D ultrasound! I am so excited to see him! I hope we can see his little face and features.
I can't wait to see Melanie's baby bump! It is so much fun having your cousin (who is the sister I never had) pregnant at the same time as you. I was looking through pictures, and I can't believe how much has changed in just 6 months. In April, we took a trip to the beach and Melanie and I were in the middle of trying to get pregnant, and now look at us!

27 Weeks!
How far along am I? 27 weeksTotal weight gain? Find out in less than two weeks....who cares!
Sleep? Sleep is still good, but the time change was a little hard. My body didn't understand that I was supposed to get an extra hour of sleep.
How am I feeling? I feel great! Other than this big thing in the way when I try to bend over I still really can't tell a difference. I love being pregnant!
Best moment this week? My first baby shower, of course! It was so beautiful and I feel so blessed!
Movement? He is moving a lot more now. I feel his a lot in the morning, between 7 and 9, and at night between 7-11. I think he may have flipped the other night. I felt this huge hard bulge, and then it was gone a few seconds later.
Belly button? It's still in, but not for long
Food Cravings? It's been cheese this week.
What I am looking forward to? My shower this weekend, and the sneak peek we are going to get of Logan Friday at 5:00. My two aunts and cousin are coming in town to help host my shower and we are going to go get a 3D ultrasound Friday! I am so excited! I can't wait to see his sweet little face. I just hope he cooperates!

My First Shower!
I still can't believe how beautiful my mom and Sandy made my shower yesterday. I feel so blessed to have so many caring friends. Logan received so many wonderful gifts and I had such a good time putting them away and getting things organized last night. What a blessing! Here are a few pictures...

What a surprise!
26 Weeks!
Look's like I'm an eggplant for a few weeks! How far along am I? 26 weeks
Total weight gain? 17 pounds last week, so maybe 18?
Sleep? Sleep is great, expect when you are woken up by stinky dog pee! Sable has a bladder infection and twice this week, we have woken up at 5:o0 am to dog pee in the room. Of course, I have to get up and steam vac the entire room! Fun, fun, fun!
How am I feeling? I feel great! I can tell that he is getting bigger. It is really hard to bend over when I am sitting. I think he is moving things around in there!
Best moment this week? Scheduling our 4D ultrasound (Nov. 21st)! It was also great to see that my countdown until Logan is here is now in double digits. 98 days to go!
Movement? He is moving a lot, still mostly at night. I was really tired today, so I got 1/4 of my coffee regular and the other 3/4 decaf. I rarely have caffeine, so he was quite wiggly today! It was crazy how much more I felt him during the day.
Belly button? It's still in
Food Cravings? Pumpkin again this week. I made pumpkin bread and found pumpkin muffins at Publix. Yummy!
What I am looking forward to? My first shower is this weekend! My mom and her friend Sandy are throwing it for me. I am so excited to see what Baby Logan gets!
Milestones? The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.
99 days to go!!!
I'm no longer in the triple digits! I can't believe I only have 99 days left! It's going by so quickly!

25 Weeks! He's an eggplant!
How far along am I? 25 weeksTotal weight gain? :( 17 pounds, I cried at the doctor. I know he is growing, but it was a little difficult to see.
Sleep? I love sleeping...Sleep is great!
How am I feeling? I am still feeling really good, just feeling like I am growing...oh wait, I am!
Best moment this week? Seeing my cousin and spending time with my family. I have a great family! It was also great to hear his heartbeat. It still makes me cry everytime I hear it!
Movement? The doctor confirmed that I do have an anterior placenta, so that's why I haven't felt him move as much. I still feel him move every night and Chris has been able to feel him a lot too.
Belly Button? Still in, but probably not for long
Food cravings? Costco chocolate chip cookies (probably didn't help the 17 pounds), apples, and cheese
What I am looking forward to? My showers coming up in the next few weeks. I can't wait to celebrate Baby Logan!
Milestones? Get ready for pat-a-cake! Baby's hands are now fully developed and he spends most of his awake time groping around in the darkness of your uterus. Brain and nerve endings are developed enough now so that your baby can feel the sensation of touch. That doesn't mean he can feel it when his father pokes your stomach, however, so tell him to knock it off. Other highlights include:Your baby's arms and legs have grown to almost the proportions they will be at birth, which is still sort of short. So don't be alarmed when your newborn's arms barely clear his waist. Baby's nostrils, which have been plugged up until now, clear out (like he's taken a super-dose of Sudafed) and he can practice breathing through the nose. The structures of your baby's spine are now made up of 150 joints, 33 rings and some 1,000 ligaments. Can you believe you're growing something that complicated inside of you?

24 Weeks...Still a Papaya!
How far along am I? 24 Weeks 1 dayTotal weight gain? I find out in 4 days...I know it's over 10 pounds...maybe 15??? :( I've grown a lot this month.
Sleep? Sleep is great! I love to sleep. (Still no naps, though)
How am I feeling? LARGE! I feel great just a little tired at night.
Best moment this week? Getting two of my shower invitations in the mail. They are so cute! Buying new maternity clothes this week, finding a bookcase for Logan's room, and Chris feeling him move more.
Movement? He is moving mostly at night, and it is very low in my belly
Belly button? It's still in
Food cravings? cheese dip, sweets, and apples
What I am looking forward to? Hanging out with my sister in law, niece, and pregnant cousin Melanie this weekend. I can't wait for Saturday! Also, I go to the doctor on Monday for my 24/25 week appointment.
Milestones? Your baby isn't just sitting around (on your bladder) doing nothing, he's working hard preparing for life outside the womb—perfecting his lungs and packing on the pounds. He'll gain ½ pound this week alone. Other highlights this week:Things are starting to get a little crowded inside the old womb as baby grows bigger and bigger. Your ribs are probably pining away for the good old days when they didn't have a foot permanently lodged between them. Hate to break it to you, but it's going to get worse before it gets better.Your baby's ears are fully functional now. And since they are, you may notice that loud noises and sudden movements can startle the little bugger. He's getting used to the everyday sounds inside the womb: the sound of your heart beating, your lungs inhaling and exhaling air, the growling of your stomach because your partner promised he'd be right back with that double cheeseburger and he's taking forever! He'll even be able to hear your voice when your partner finally arrives and you ask him where the bleep he's been! So talk nice!

23 Weeks...Looks like I'm a Papaya for a while
How far along am I? 23 Weeks!Total weight gain? I go to the doctor in a week and a half...I'm sure I've gained some :)
Sleep? Sleep is the best! I think about coming home and taking a nap all day long, but when I get home, I just can't seem to lay down. I find so many other things to do.
How am I feeling? Still feeling great, just a little tired. I have been having some hot flashes!
Best moment this week? Two things....Finding out that my PREGNANT cousin Melanie is coming to visit me next weekend. I can't wait to see her and hear all about her pregnancy. I
also got a peek at my shower invitations. When Megan showed them to me, I started crying. It is so exciting and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family.
Movement? He has been moving more and Chris finally has been able to feel him again. It seemed like every time I told him to feel, Logan would stop kicking. Chris was beginning to think that Logan didn't like him.
Belly Button? It's still in
Food Cravings? Apple juice, orange juice, and monkey bread (Thank you Mimi for making it for us Sunday morning!)
What I am looking forward to? My Baby showers that are coming up in a few weeks!
Milestones? Your baby's got a while to go before his lungs will be ready for air and is practicing his "breathing" on the amniotic fluid—sucking it in and out of his lungs. Other highlights this week: Fat production is in overdrive at this point (for the baby, not you! Well, OK, maybe for the baby and you). Your baby will basically double in weight over the next four weeks! You'll be happy to know the same won't apply to you. Your Mini is starting to look more like a newborn as his skin becomes less see-through. His body is looking more proportional now, although his head is still kinda big compared to his cute little body. Your baby is about 11½ inches long and weighs 1 pound, or about the length and weight of a Harry Potter book.

22 Weeks!

He is the size of a papaya!
How far along are you? 22 weeks
Total weight gain? 8 pounds
Sleep? We were out of town over the weekend, and I did not sleep very well in the hotel bed. I slept awesome once I was back in my bed, it felt SO nice!
How am I feeling? I still feel great! I swear, if I didn't know I was pregnant, I probably wouldn't know it. It's great!
Best moment this week? I am going to get Logan's baby book tomorrow so I can start filling it out.
Movement? He is definitely moving now. He is most active at night when I am laying down.
Bellybutton? It's still an innie, but it's stretching.
Food cravings? I just got back from the grocery store: frosted animal cookies, rice cakes, caesar salad pitas, and cereal. Random, I know!
What I am looking forward to? Feeling him move throughout the day, and his kicks getting harder.
Milestones? The baby is probably close to a pound and very thin but very developed. The eyelids and eyebrows are now formed, and the brain begins rapid growth. If your baby is a boy, his testes have begun their descent from the pelvis to the scrotum.

21 Weeks! Great day = long post
He's the size of a banana this week, I think they are referring to how long he is, not the width. The picture says the average is 12.7 oz, but the ultrasound tech told us today that he was measuring right at one pound (16 oz.)! The ultrasound tech, said he was measuring at 22weeks and 1 day. Then she told us at this point he is a "big baby"! How far along are you? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss? 8 pounds
Maternity clothes? Love them! I am starting to get a lot of comments, I guess people can tell I'm pregnant now.
Sleep? Sleep is still great, I am usually out by 9:30...9:45 the latest.
How am I feeling? I feel wonderful...no complaints!
Best moment this week? Where to start? Chris got to feel the baby for the first time Tuesday morning. Logan did a nice little kick when Chris had his hand on my tummy. Another great moment this week, was seeing him and getting new pictures. He was sleeping during the first ultrasound, so I had to drink some apple juice to wake him up. He finally woke up for the second ultrasound and decided to suck his thumb for the pictures. It was so cute!
Movement? I have been feeling him a lot more this week. It is such an amazing feeling to feel him kicking from the inside, but to feel it from the outside is even more amazing. Especially now that Chris can share this with me.
Food cravings? pumpkin! I got a decaf pumpkin latte from Starbucks this week that was so yummy! I also bought pumpkin pie!
What I am looking forward to? We are leaving Friday afternoon to go see my new nephew Daniel in Charleston. We are so excited to finally meet him!
Milestones? Your baby likely weighs about 300-400 grams (about 10-14 ozs.) and is about 18-20cm (about 7 inches) long. As you move into your 21st week of gestation, the baby's lungs are still growing. Bronchi and bronchioles enlarge and even early alveoli in your baby's lungs begin to form.
Studies show that your baby is actually able to distinguish taste in the fifth month!

Here are some pictures from today's ultrasound:
This is him looking straight at the screen. It's his head in the middle and his tummy to the left. You can see his eyes, nose, mouth, hands and tummy.
