26 Weeks

How far along? 26 Weeks

How big is baby? A head of lettuce

Total weight gain/loss? Haven't weighed this week.  I'm thinking 13-15 pounds.  :(

How am I feeling? I'm feeling pretty good, except my back is starting to hurt.  I think it's mostly when I'm sitting.

Gym Activity? I didn't do very good last week.  I'm planning to go tomorrow and making my goal to go three times this week.

Maternity Clothes? Maternity pictures are in just a few days.  I have one outfit picked out.  Hopefully it will work.
Stretch Marks? Keep Away!

Sleep? I'm waking up a few times during the night again.  Makes for a tired mommy in the morning.

Best moment this week? The best moment this week was going to my doctor's appointment and seeing Landon again on the ultrasound.  The doctor said the spot is still there on my uterus, but since it has not changed, they said they are not worried about it right now.  I don't need to have another ultrasound at the next visit.  Luckily, we will be having our 4D ultrasound in a few weeks, so we'll get to see him again.

Movement? Still feeling lots of movement everyday.  I even got to feel his hiccups for the first time this week.
Food Cravings/Aversions?  I had a Rice Krispies cereal craving.  I had them for breakfast everyday this past week.
Gender? It's a BOY!

Labor signs?  Too early

Belly Button?  getting flatter

What I miss? I'm missing going up stairs without feeling out of breath!

What I'm looking forward to? Looking forward to family pictures this week and ordering Christmas cards.  Logan asks if we can decorate for Christmas.  I'm trying to hold out until next week when I'm off school.

Milestones/Development:  His eyes are forming, and they will soon start to open.  His eyelashes are now grown, too.  He's getting his immune system ready for life on the outside by soaking up your antibodies.  He's taking breaths, too. They're of amniotic fluid, not air, but it's still good practice.
