Hot Stepper

This picture makes my laugh out loud...like spit on my screen laugh out loud.  I'm not sure whether it's the shoes, the no pants, him looking like he's strutting down a runway or the oh so concentrated look on his face.

Enjoy the laugh at the expense of my silly boy and your welcome!  :)

It's that time again

My boys kicking off football season (which stinks for us so far) and firing up the grill!  Touchdown for big boy pants and pee peeing in the potty 6 times last Sunday!

Because Being a Big Kid is Just So Much Fun!

"Go Ma!"

I hear those words all the time lately.  I try not to let them hurt my feelings, since I know my little guy is just trying to figure out this whole independence thing.  He has figured out that not only eating cereal from a bowl with milk is something big kids do, but that they also pour their own cereal without their mom's help.  Where the heck did he figure that out?  Needless to say, I think Lilly and I are still cleaning up Cheerios off the floor.

ABC's and 123's

This is a little overdue, but I am so happy to report that my big boy is LOVING school.  He is now going three mornings a week and for the first time in his preschool history, he made it an entire week without crying when getting out of the car!  He has always cried when getting taken out of the car, but stopped once in the building.  I think he's finally adjusting!

We love Logan's new teachers and are so pleased with what he's doing at school.  He comes home with the cutest crafts each day and is usually covered in glitter or paint!

It's such a blessing to have found such a wonderful place for Logan to be!

Gender.. What's That?

We've still be practicing with who boys are and who girls are.  We aren't getting into what makes someone a boy or a girl...just naming people and telling whether they are boy or girl.  Most of the time, Logan says he's a boy and Mommy is a girl.  He still is a little confused about "boy toys" and "girl toys".
I don't have a problem with Logan playing with pink things or girl things, but I wouldn't necessarily buy girl toys for him.
We went to Target a few weeks ago and I made the mistake of letting Logan walk around instead of going in the cart.  Our 30 minute Target trip turned into a 2 hour trip becuase he found this little jewel and HAD to tote it around the WHOLE store.

You can see he was having a little internal struggle between the pink shopping cart and the very manly monster truck!

Fun at Dinner

Logan loves to point out other people's glasses and is a little obsessed with Mr. Potato Head's glasses, so while waiting for our dinner the other night, we made Logan a pair a his very own glasses!
