Two weeks ago we went and spent the day on Uncle Josh's boat. We had a great time and we were so excited Chris didn't have to work and was able to come. Josh mentioned going to a beach and hanging out, which had me worried since Logan has not been a fan of the sand or the beach, but he was having too much fun to even notice!
A little doll house time
The water was freezing and I was shocked he was even in it!
Guarding the snack table on the beach. Again, shocked he was touching he sand.
Last weekend we joined Granddaddy, Barbara and the rest of our family over at his lake house for a very special day...Granddaddy and Barbara got married.
It is always so much fun to get our family together and visit with everyone. Granddaddy and Barbara both looked wonderful and very happy. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to snap pictures and chase a 2 year old around. After the ceremony, we went to a beautiful restaurant, complete with an elevator, which if you didn't know is the coolest thing to a 2 and 3 year old.
Before the wedding! (Goldfish, of course!)
The cake was delicious! (so was the food!)
Kenzie thought so, too!
Who doesn't love an impromptu fort?
We got back to Melanie and Scott's and had some fun cousin time!
I have hundreds of ideas pinned on Pinterest, and hopefully now that I have more time on my hands I will be able to get to some of them. I did try out the picture flower pot and I have to say I think it turned out really cute! I put it together for Mimi's birthday about 2 weeks ago, (yes I'm quite behind on blogging.)
It was pretty simple to do and could be done with any paper and and colors.
I was so excited Logan was finally cooperating and saying his ABC's while I secretly recorded him that I appartently decided that the letter "J" no longer is part of the English alphabet. Opps! We got all the way to "t" before he quit. Also, how cute is it that he said, "G.G." for the letter "g"?
Logan got his first skinned knee over the weekend. He took a little spill on the sidewalk and wasn't quite sure what to think when his little knee started bleeding.
We washed it off and put some all healing Aquaphor on it. He kept rubbing it and touching it and then grunting. I'm sure it was burning, but he didn't understand that the more he touched it the more it would burn.
We had a fantastic Easter today and we were happy to spend it with family. We went to church, came home did a few hours of yard work, and then headed to Mimi and Pops for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. We didn't get to see everyone for Easter, but we thought about all of our family we weren't with. Logan did get to spend his Easter with his Great Grandmother (G.G.). Because my back is killing me from the yard work, I'm going to be lazy with this post and just put the pictures up. 6 weeks of school left and my Gifted Endorsement will be complete in 14 DAYS!!!! I might have a little more time to blog pretty soon! YAY!
The Easter Bunny came!
He even left tracks!
Logan LOVES animals right now. He can put each animal on a special spot and it says what the animal is and makes the sound. He loved it!
