What a surprise!

My sweet neighbor Krissie, surprised us on Saturday with our highchair. It was totally unexpected and so thoughtful. (Krissie you shouldn't have done that!) We are so thankful to have such wonderful friends and neighbors! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

26 Weeks!

Look's like I'm an eggplant for a few weeks!
How far along am I? 26 weeks
Total weight gain? 17 pounds last week, so maybe 18?
Sleep? Sleep is great, expect when you are woken up by stinky dog pee! Sable has a bladder infection and twice this week, we have woken up at 5:o0 am to dog pee in the room. Of course, I have to get up and steam vac the entire room! Fun, fun, fun!
How am I feeling? I feel great! I can tell that he is getting bigger. It is really hard to bend over when I am sitting. I think he is moving things around in there!
Best moment this week? Scheduling our 4D ultrasound (Nov. 21st)! It was also great to see that my countdown until Logan is here is now in double digits. 98 days to go!
Movement? He is moving a lot, still mostly at night. I was really tired today, so I got 1/4 of my coffee regular and the other 3/4 decaf. I rarely have caffeine, so he was quite wiggly today! It was crazy how much more I felt him during the day.
Belly button? It's still in
Food Cravings? Pumpkin again this week. I made pumpkin bread and found pumpkin muffins at Publix. Yummy!
What I am looking forward to? My first shower is this weekend! My mom and her friend Sandy are throwing it for me. I am so excited to see what Baby Logan gets!
Milestones? The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

99 days to go!!!

I'm no longer in the triple digits! I can't believe I only have 99 days left! It's going by so quickly!

25 Weeks! He's an eggplant!

How far along am I? 25 weeks
Total weight gain? :( 17 pounds, I cried at the doctor. I know he is growing, but it was a little difficult to see.
Sleep? I love sleeping...Sleep is great!
How am I feeling? I am still feeling really good, just feeling like I am growing...oh wait, I am!
Best moment this week? Seeing my cousin and spending time with my family. I have a great family! It was also great to hear his heartbeat. It still makes me cry everytime I hear it!
Movement? The doctor confirmed that I do have an anterior placenta, so that's why I haven't felt him move as much. I still feel him move every night and Chris has been able to feel him a lot too.
Belly Button? Still in, but probably not for long
Food cravings? Costco chocolate chip cookies (probably didn't help the 17 pounds), apples, and cheese
What I am looking forward to? My showers coming up in the next few weeks. I can't wait to celebrate Baby Logan!
Milestones? Get ready for pat-a-cake! Baby's hands are now fully developed and he spends most of his awake time groping around in the darkness of your uterus. Brain and nerve endings are developed enough now so that your baby can feel the sensation of touch. That doesn't mean he can feel it when his father pokes your stomach, however, so tell him to knock it off. Other highlights include:Your baby's arms and legs have grown to almost the proportions they will be at birth, which is still sort of short. So don't be alarmed when your newborn's arms barely clear his waist. Baby's nostrils, which have been plugged up until now, clear out (like he's taken a super-dose of Sudafed) and he can practice breathing through the nose. The structures of your baby's spine are now made up of 150 joints, 33 rings and some 1,000 ligaments. Can you believe you're growing something that complicated inside of you?

24 Weeks...Still a Papaya!

How far along am I? 24 Weeks 1 day
Total weight gain? I find out in 4 days...I know it's over 10 pounds...maybe 15??? :( I've grown a lot this month.
Sleep? Sleep is great! I love to sleep. (Still no naps, though)
How am I feeling? LARGE! I feel great just a little tired at night.
Best moment this week? Getting two of my shower invitations in the mail. They are so cute! Buying new maternity clothes this week, finding a bookcase for Logan's room, and Chris feeling him move more.
Movement? He is moving mostly at night, and it is very low in my belly
Belly button? It's still in
Food cravings? cheese dip, sweets, and apples
What I am looking forward to? Hanging out with my sister in law, niece, and pregnant cousin Melanie this weekend. I can't wait for Saturday! Also, I go to the doctor on Monday for my 24/25 week appointment.
Milestones? Your baby isn't just sitting around (on your bladder) doing nothing, he's working hard preparing for life outside the womb—perfecting his lungs and packing on the pounds. He'll gain ½ pound this week alone. Other highlights this week:Things are starting to get a little crowded inside the old womb as baby grows bigger and bigger. Your ribs are probably pining away for the good old days when they didn't have a foot permanently lodged between them. Hate to break it to you, but it's going to get worse before it gets better.Your baby's ears are fully functional now. And since they are, you may notice that loud noises and sudden movements can startle the little bugger. He's getting used to the everyday sounds inside the womb: the sound of your heart beating, your lungs inhaling and exhaling air, the growling of your stomach because your partner promised he'd be right back with that double cheeseburger and he's taking forever! He'll even be able to hear your voice when your partner finally arrives and you ask him where the bleep he's been! So talk nice!

23 Weeks...Looks like I'm a Papaya for a while

How far along am I? 23 Weeks!
Total weight gain? I go to the doctor in a week and a half...I'm sure I've gained some :)
Sleep? Sleep is the best! I think about coming home and taking a nap all day long, but when I get home, I just can't seem to lay down. I find so many other things to do.
How am I feeling? Still feeling great, just a little tired. I have been having some hot flashes!
Best moment this week? Two things....Finding out that my PREGNANT cousin Melanie is coming to visit me next weekend. I can't wait to see her and hear all about her pregnancy. I
also got a peek at my shower invitations. When Megan showed them to me, I started crying. It is so exciting and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family.
Movement? He has been moving more and Chris finally has been able to feel him again. It seemed like every time I told him to feel, Logan would stop kicking. Chris was beginning to think that Logan didn't like him.
Belly Button? It's still in
Food Cravings? Apple juice, orange juice, and monkey bread (Thank you Mimi for making it for us Sunday morning!)
What I am looking forward to? My Baby showers that are coming up in a few weeks!
Milestones? Your baby's got a while to go before his lungs will be ready for air and is practicing his "breathing" on the amniotic fluid—sucking it in and out of his lungs. Other highlights this week: Fat production is in overdrive at this point (for the baby, not you! Well, OK, maybe for the baby and you). Your baby will basically double in weight over the next four weeks! You'll be happy to know the same won't apply to you. Your Mini is starting to look more like a newborn as his skin becomes less see-through. His body is looking more proportional now, although his head is still kinda big compared to his cute little body. Your baby is about 11½ inches long and weighs 1 pound, or about the length and weight of a Harry Potter book.

Do you think I've grown??? ;) 13 Weeks vs. 23 Weeks
